We will look into their appearances from the prelims to the finale night and, eventually, the crowning of the winner. So, without wasting much time, let’s begin.
Miss Universe 2024: Journey of the Top 5 Finalists
The Miss Universe Top 5 finalists are the ladies that pass the prelims, made it to the top 30 and top 12. They are the best of the 125 contestants that participated in the 2024 Miss Universe. Let's look at the journey of the Miss Universe 2024 top 5.

The Runner-Up Who Almost Won - Miss Universe Nigeria: Chidimma Adetshina
Chidimma Adetshina was my winner in my Top 20 predictions. Although she finished second, she became the first Nigerian Queen to achieve this feat at Miss Universe. I think she should have won (no pun intended), but I am not the judge. She did extremely well and deserved to be in the Top 2, though not in 2nd place. Let’s look at Miss Universe Nigeria’s 2024 journey.

Our Miss Universe 2024 is Miss Denmark!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Victoria Kjaer Theilvig was the dark horse who claimed the crown. She made history as the first Danish woman to win the title and the first blonde, blue-eyed contestant to win in 20 years. She gave us an excellent walk, and her evening gowns were stunning. However, her Q&A could have been better. Nonetheless, she truly deserved the crown. Here is Miss Universe Denmark’s 2024 journey.

Theilvig’s striking costume featured a bedazzled, yellow set that appeared to have flames coming out of it. Her feathered backpiece was predominantly red, with inlays of the same gold-and-red sparkly pattern as her outfit. Red gloves, a large headpiece, and embellished ankle cuffs completed the powerful ensemble.
