Today, I want to bring attention to a hair vendor who was previously known as Luxury-quality-hair-by-Jane on TikTok but now uses the name hairbyj___ on the same platform. This vendor, whose real name is Odewale Victoria Temitope, has been identified as a scammer. Our undercover shopper purchased hair from her for N50,000 (fifty thousand Naira), promising that the hair would be delivered to our shopper on the Sunday of the week of purchase. However, on that Sunday, the vendor failed to deliver. She initially claimed that the delivery was on its way but then ceased communication for almost a week, even blocking our shopper on WhatsApp and all social platforms.

Our shopper bought her hair when she was still bearing the name Luxury-quality-hair-by-Jane, but upon further investigation, we found out she changed her page name to hairbyj___, which she is still scamming people with.

If you're looking to purchase hair online, we advise you to thoroughly research the vendor before making any payments. If you come across a vendor named Odewale Victoria Temitope, do not proceed with the payment, as it is likely a scam. It's important to be aware that any pages using the hashtags #Janehairs and #Luxuryhairs are associated with this scam, as the scammer has repeatedly changed the name of their account. Be cautious and vigilant when making online purchases.
