Golf Legend in Trouble

The golf legend was arrested in May and charged with driving under the influence.

Less than a month after his arrest for driving under the influence, Tiger Woods has said he's receiving help to manage his medications and "the ways that I deal with back pain and a sleep disorder."
In a statement issued Monday night, the 41-year-old golfer said, "I want to thank everyone for the amazing outpouring of support and understanding especially the fans and players on tour."
Woods was charged with driving under the influence after police in Jupiter, Florida, found him asleep at the wheel of his Mercedes-Benz about 2 a.m. May 29. Breath tests showed no presence of alcohol, but Woods told officers he had a reaction to several prescription drugs, including Vicodin and Xanax. His arraignment has been delayed until Aug. 9.
Woods could qualify for a diversion program in which the DUI charge is downgraded to reckless driving, which results in probation, fine and other conditions such as taking a DUI course.
Woods is one of the greatest golfers of all time, having won 14 major championships. He turned pro at the age of 20, in 1996, and less than a year later captured his first major win at the Masters tournament. In recent years, however, Woods has been hobbled by injuries and hasn't won a tournament since 2013. He's undergone multiple back surgeries and hasn't played competitive golf since February, when he was forced to pull out of the Dubai Desert Classic, according to CNN.
His fourth and most recent back surgery was in April, The New York Times reported. "I haven't felt this good in years," Woods said following the procedure, which was expected to keep him off the golf course for six months.

MANNY PACQUIAO THINKS THAT CONAR MCGREGOR HAS " NO CHANCE" AGAINST MAYWEATHER

Many popular figures within the boxing world have laid into Conor McGregor's upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr, likening it to a sport-shaming farce.
For his part, Mayweather Jr has argued that he "had to give [the people] what they wanted to see," and we can't imagine the mammoth payday was easy to turn down, either.
But now Manny Pacquiao, one of his greatest rivals over the past decade, has leapt to the pugilist's defense–and backed his prospects.
"McGregor has no chance in this fight," Pac-Man told Dan Wetzel of Yahoo Sports.
"In fact, it could be very boring. There is no way [McGregor] will be able to land a meaningful punch on Floyd. How could he? He has no professional experience in boxing."
Although he stopped short of endorsing the fight, instead redirecting attention to a boxing match a month further down the line on September 16th.
"The real fight and the best fight is [Gennady] Golovkin vs. Canelo [Alvarez]," Pacquiao said. "The best vs. the best. That's the fight I will be watching."
Mayweather and McGregor are set to fight on 26 August at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Roger Federer Just Won His Eighth Wimbledon Title

At 35, he's now the oldest man to win Wimbledon in the Open era.

Roger Federer won his 19th Grand Slam, beating Marin Cilic and becoming the first man to win eight Wimbledon titles. (Martina Navratilova, with nine titles, is the overall winningest Wimbledon competitor.) Federer won straight sets against the Croatian Cilic, who was playing on a bandaged left foot and at one point slipped and fell on the court.
Federer took to Twitter shortly after his win, posting a picture of himself with his trophy.
